Blower

Blowers are devices that generate a high-speed stream of air or gas to move or circulate materials, provide ventilation, or create pressure. These are often used in waterproofing services for several important reasons, especially when it comes to the application of membranes, coatings, or other materials in waterproofing systems.

Importance of Using a Blower for Waterproofing:

  • Drying and Curing- After the application of waterproofing materials (liquid membranes), we use blowers to speed up the drying and curing process. The adequate airflow of blowers ensures that the materials are set properly without being hindered by moisture or humidity, which could impact the effectiveness of the waterproofing.
  • Moisture Evaporation- During waterproofing, especially in areas like basements or damp environments, moisture can be trapped. By using blowers, we help to remove excess moisture from the surface, which prevents it from interfering with the application of waterproofing materials.
  • Ventilation- Waterproofing areas are enclosed or have limited airflow may require blowers to provide proper ventilation. This helps maintain optimal conditions for the application and curing of the waterproofing system, particularly in confined spaces.
  • Surface Preparation- Blowers are used to remove dirt, debris, or dust from the surface before applying waterproofing materials. Clean & dry surfaces ensure better adhesion and long-lasting results.
  • Preventing Trapped Air- We involve layers of materials in waterproofing systems, which are applied smoothly. Blowers can help eliminate trapped air pockets or bubbles that might otherwise compromise the integrity of the waterproofing layer.
